Curious about learning Reiki?
You don't need to be planning a career as a Reiki practitioner
to learn Reiki.
People come to Reiki training for many different reasons. Some want to learn something they can use for themselves. Some would like to support family and friends. Others are already working with people and are interested in adding Reiki to the skills they use professionally.
And sometimes, people are simply curious.
Reiki training gives you the opportunity to understand what Reiki is, experience it for yourself and develop practical skills you can continue using long after the course has finished.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on or hands-near practice that originated in Japan.
During Reiki, the hands are placed lightly on, or just above, different areas of the body.
Reiki is traditionally understood as working with the body's energy, and people often describe experiencing warmth, tingling, relaxation or a sense of calm.
At De-Stress and be HAPPY, Reiki is taught in a practical way.
You'll learn the traditional foundations of Reiki alongside plenty of hands-on practice, giving you the opportunity to explore it for yourself and develop your own understanding through experience.

REIKI MASTERY
Continue into advanced Reiki
Reiki is traditionally taught in progressive levels, with each stage building on the knowledge, skills and experience developed in the one before it.
At De-Stress and be HAPPY, training follows this progression while giving you time to practise, gain experience and develop confidence along the way.
Learn the foundations of Reiki and begin developing the practical skills to use Reiki for yourself and with others.
Build on your Level One foundations, deepen your knowledge and expand the ways you can work with Reiki.
For students who choose to take their Reiki learning further, including advanced practice and the pathway towards teaching Reiki.

What can I expect from
Reiki training?
Reiki is best learnt by experiencing it — not just reading about it.
Reiki training at De-Stress and be HAPPY is taught over one weekend — two days, with a balance of theory and practical learning.
Mornings are focused on learning and understanding.
We'll explore the theory, foundations and concepts relevant to your level of Reiki training, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Afternoons are practical and hands-on.
You'll have time to experience Reiki, practise what you've learnt and begin developing confidence in using the techniques for yourself and with others.
You don't need to arrive already knowing what you believe about Reiki. You're encouraged to be curious, ask questions and develop your own understanding through both learning and experience.
MORNING

AFTERNOON

Learning Reiki with Kerry
Reiki Master for 25+ years | Experienced Reiki Educator
I have been practising Reiki for more than 25 years, and teaching Reiki is something I genuinely enjoy.
My teaching style is practical, relaxed and supportive. I want you to understand what you're learning, but just as importantly, I want you to have the opportunity to experience Reiki for yourself and develop confidence through practice.
Classes are kept small, allowing plenty of time for questions, discussion, hands-on learning and individual guidance throughout the weekend.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you believe about Reiki, and there are no silly questions. I encourage students to be curious, ask questions and develop their own understanding through both learning and experience.
Kerry, you do very well in teaching, I can't praise you enough! You are very knowledgeable. This course has boosted my confidence. The practical, hands-on approach to the course is something we can all take away with us and use.”

“As someone who is relatively new to complimentary therapies, I believe the Reiki course was excellent. The information was presented clearly, with time allowed for both the theory and practical components.”
Mark – Seacliff SA
